    Abstract: 本研究的目的是對現行國中理化教科書以科學史的角度進行內容分析,以力學部分為範圍,希望瞭解教科書中有關科學史敘述的比重和品質。依據研究目的,本研究採取內容分析法。研究結果發現:現行國中理化教科書的力學部分,科學史所佔的面積百分比只有2.99%,而且,僅有的敘述也嫌簡略,除非教師具備豐富的科學史素養能自行補充,否則無法發揮科學史的多重教學功能。
    The purpose of this research is to analyze the content in current physical science (PS) textbooks with the view of history of science (HOFS). Mechanics is the scope. We hope to understand the proportion and quality of the content about HOFS in the textbooks. According to the purpose above, this research adopts content-analysis method. The results of this research are as follows. Of the portion of mechanics in current PS textbooks in secondary schools, the area percentage about HOFS is only 2.99%. And, the only description is over-simplified. Unless teachers themselves have profound literacy of HOFS to supplement the teaching material, the multiple teaching functions of HOFS can't be effective.
