    Abstract: 本研究主要在探討不同奇異花蝴蝶蘭雜交品種組合的著果率,授粉後蒴果培養天數和溫度與雜交胚萌芽之關係,並建立實生苗大量繁殖模式。
    在試驗品種裡,紫紅色、粉紅色系,最易授粉;Dtps. Minho Princess. “三傑”、朱紅色、黃綠色系,不易授粉。
    This study is aimed at the ratio of fruit setting, initial culture stage and growth temperature between different hybridized combinations of Phalaenopsis, and also establishing the hybridization and seedling propagation system in novel Phalaenopsis.
    In all species studied, the purple-red and pink species are easier to pollinate than the Dtps. Minho Princess, dark red and yellow-green species.
    The capsules of the Phalaenopsis which pollinated in summer are smaller and the immature capsules fell off easily. Some capsules even died in ten days and the capsules became yellow and fell off.
    The capsules grew 98 days after pollination have the ability to germinate. However, the capsules which grew 126 days after pollination have the best response in culture.
    We observed the growth of immature embryos and found that the embryos absorbed water, swelled and then the seed coats was beginning to break and became dark yellow-green protocorm after two weeks. Then we transferred them to B medium for proliferation as the second subcultures. When the seedling length of second subculture were 1 cm in length, we transferred them to P medium for seedling growth as the third subcultures.
    When the fresh weight of plantlets arrived about 0.3 g with the leaves 3-5 cm in length, it would be transferred and culture outside the bottle.
    The hybridization and seedling propagation system in novel Phalaenopsis is established at least about eight months from seeding to transferring outside the bottle. It is 2-4 months faster than the previous reports.
